The European Summer Meeting of the Association for Symbolic Logic ("Logic Colloquium") is the major conference in mathematical logic each year, bringing together logicians, computer scientists, philosophers, and practitioners of "applied" logic for a week-long meeting.

I will give short and very casual overview of the major topics of this year's meeting in Prague (together with photos!) and then focus a little on some of the work connected to algebra.
