Moore-Penrose (M-P) inverse of Tensors via Einstein product
Abstract:

In this talk, we will start with a review the M-P inverse of matrices and their basic properties. We then discuss analogous results to tensors using the Einstein products, which are natural generalization of matrix products to hypermatrices. We will end the talk by proving the existence and uniqueness of the M-P inverse of tensors. To do this, we will introduce the so-called column(row) major format transformations which enable us obtain the singular value decomposition (SVD) of tensors.
