| Abstract:
In this talk, we first define generalized Poincaré-Birkhoff-Witt extensions; these include various non-commutative polynomial-type rings, for example, skew polynomial rings, Weyl algebras, enveloping algebras of Lie algebras, etc.; and then discuss Gröbner bases in this new algebraic structure. |
