Some new classes of commutative rings related to the lying-over and survival properties of ring extensions
Abstract:

In every Krull dimension, there exist commutative rings R for which each unital commutative ring extension S satisfies the lying-over property (resp., the quasi-lying-over property; resp., the survival property). Connections among these three types of rings will be examined, along with relevant constructions, mainly involving J. Huckaba's A+B construction and certain rings of continuous functions.
