Model theory in differential fields and difference fields have been studied by many authors in past decades. Recently the fields with both differential operators and difference operators have attracted more and more attention. In this talk we first outline some recent results in this area, and discuss some possible extensions to noncommutative differential/difference operators, which is an ongoing project with Dr. Kucera.
