Orthogonal matrices in combinatorics, signed groups and their representations III
Abstract:

This week we will look at two ways groups can be used in orthogonal matrices: they can provide entries, and they can provide "shape" via a group representation -- or they can act in both ways simultaneously, as in the matrices we will study, and a duality between them that arises out of a bit of simple algebra, a result from my PhD thesis. Then we will see a generalization of this result involving a more generalized type of group connection and provides some useful insights into certain important classes of projective planes.
