Abstract:
The title is a recent theorem obtained during joint work with A. Abdesselam. Transvectants are certain fundamental constructions in classical invariant theory discovered in the nineteenth century. I will define them, say something about their significance in algebra and explain our main theorem. Technicalities will be avoided or at least tightly circumscribed. |
