Diophantine problems in geometry
Abstract:

One of the many beauties of elliptic curves is their blend of arithmetic, algebra and geometry, not only intrinsically but also in their solutions. In this talk, we present some classical Diophantine problems and their solutions using techniques from elementary algebraic curves.
