The algebra of truncated addition

Abstract:

Let U=<[0,1]; 0, 1-x, min{1, x+y}>
I will talk about the following problems:

  1. Find a finite equational basis for the equational class generated by U.
  2. Prove some nice structural theorems about this equational class.
