Maxima CAS packages and patches

Maxima CAS is a free, open-source computer algebra system. It runs on all modern operating systems and features a rich array of features that rival the commerical, closed-source computer algebra systems. Maxima is built on top of the LISP computer language. LISP, and Maxima, are extremely easy to extend.

Packages and Patches

  1. user_doc: a tool for user-generated documentation
    1. download version 1.1 MD5SUM
    2. download original version MD5SUM
  2. mktemp: a common-lisp implementation to generate uniquely named temporary files
    1. download version 1.2 MD5SUM

To check tar.gz file integrity, do md5sum -c <file-root>.tar.gz.md5sum on a commandline.
