A parametrized Ramsey theorem for vector spaces
Abstract:

A "parametrized" Ramsey theorem is one which allows us to homogenize a large family of partitions of a structure simultaneously and all in the same way. In this talk, we will describe some recent results of this form for definable families of partitions of countable, infinite-dimensional vector spaces (over countable fields). We will highlight a particularly satisfying application for definable families of linear transformations on the vector space.
