Solving matrix algebraic equations
Abstract:

Studying solvability conditions and the structural representations of solutions for matrix algebraic equations, for example, Sylvester equation \( AX-XA = C \), have been an interesting research subject for a long time. There are many applications in other areas such as engineering, information science and control theory. In this talk, we will outline its history and some recent results, and discuss some new questions.
