Group Law on Pell's Conics
Part II of the talk of March 20, 2012
Abstract:

In diophantine geometry, the 2nd degree equations of the form x2 - Dy2 = 1 are known as Pell's equations. In this talk, we show the inter-relations among the group laws on Pell's conics, Brahmagupta's binary law of composition (called bhavana), generating integer solutions to Pell's equation and some applications to diophantine geometry.
